🍲 <div>TOPIC:</div><div>FROM WORRY TO TRANQUILITY</div><div>
</div><div>🔑 KEY VERSE:</div><div>”Be careful for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God” (Phil, 4:6).</div><div>
</div><div>TODAY’S TEXT</div><div>2 Corinthians 7:5-7</div><div>
</div><div>MESSAGE</div><div>Worry is a feeling of anxiousness or trouble in the heart. It is often ignited by surrounding circumstances. Certain situations and information can cause worry. In a worry state, the mind becomes unstable. Worry affects our reasoning and leading to imbalanced attitudes. Tranquility is a disposition free from stress or emotions.</div><div>
</div><div>The situation of worry was what Paul saw himself in at Macedonia. This was caused by the fighting in the church and fears in the heart for a presumed evil result. In his description of the situation, he said “we were on pins and needles and could not relax because they never knew what the whole situation will later result. Such situations can put off many believers even in today’s church. Whenever fighting ensues in the church, it leaves worry in the mind of those committed members and ministers. The fears and worries may lead to other unhealthy attitudes, like divisions, hatred, scandals, and misdirected grievances. But certain information and presence of certain persons can restore the hearts of those who are worried.</div><div>
</div><div>When Titus met Paul and other brethren, bringing news of encouragement from the brethren immediately healed the worry that was eating them up, and Paul confessed and said, “Then the God who lifts up the downcast lifted our heads and hearts with the arrival of Titus. We were glad just to see him, but true reassurance came in us with the information of how other brethren cared for him”, Knowing that someone cared for you can dispel fears and worry. We can see in this Scripture that there is a God who lifts up the head of the downcast. He can lift us from our worries.</div><div>
