My dear wonderful students, happy new year to you all. <div>
</div><div>Many of you have been asking about my whereabouts since the beginning of the year. Well, I am currently on leave of absence from the University for some time. </div><div>
</div><div>The Vice Chancellor has appointed Dr Christian Odoemelam of the mass communication department as the new Dean of students.</div><div>
</div><div> I want to urge you all to cooperate with him the same way you did with me.</div><div>
</div><div>He will ensure that your welfare is catered for.</div><div>
</div><div>I will be handing over this platform to him while I exit myself from it. </div><div>
</div><div>I will miss you all. IUO students are wonderful students.</div><div>
</div><div>All the text messages and information you have been sending to me, please extend to Dr Christian Odoemelam.</div><div>
</div><div>I wish you all successes in your academic pursuits.</div><div>
